Someday I will add some context to this poem, but for now, after a three day Expeditionary Learning Institute and 11 hours of travel from Indianapolis to Phoenix to ABQ to Taos, I think I will leave it here. Only two more poems to go!

lovely, this leads me into myself as well as into your classroom
I sat with you on the airplane from Indy to Phoenix, just another teacher struggling with the standardized virus. I still believe in lunchtime and self-discovery, among other things. I enjoy this piece a lot, thank you for sharing.
